Ladies and Gentlemen,
                     I am about to undertake an engine conversion to the
unknown (as far as I'm concerned!) and well frankly need your help. I've
currently got a Stanza SSS L16 EFI which goes Ok but is getting pretty tired
now and anyway to cut a very long story short, I would like to drop in a
CA-ish engine in it but not sure of the feasibility. Has anyone on the list
gone through with this type of operation? Are there any issues with respect
to mounting the engine? I've been told that an S3 Bluebird manual box bolts
straight onto the CA18...is this true? Should I even go for the CA18DET, and
what would I expect to pay? Am I just plain crazy? (I know the answer to
this one already!!)
I deal with Steve Newing in Melbourne and he's pushing the CA18 series
engine but I was wondering if any of you listers could please give me some
direction. Any advice would be helpfull...except the part about being
crazy...because I already know that!!!
