George... Your crazy mate.. :) Just kidding.

The Series 3 bluebird came with a CA20 engine so it's gunna fit the ca18 ok,
but Why not just ask the dood selling you the engine for the right one.
Usually a box off a turbo engine is better, stronger, etc.

I just did the SR20 conversion into my bluebird and I knew bugger all before
I started, and yours is probably going to be a very similar conversion.
First thing I gotta tell you is that you can't do it cheaply. You have to do
things properly or your stuft from the beginning, but I assume that you know
this already. It's just too easy to take shortcuts because your too keen and
then run into problems later on and you kick yourself.

The CA18det should give you a nice power-up over the L16 and if you've never
driven a turbo car before, you'll be surprised how smoothly they put the
power down to the ground. The SR20 is VERY smooth, I'm talking smooooth as
in if you were to put a glass of water on the rocker cover you'd be hard
pressed to see the water in the glass make ripples. CA18 should be very
very similar.

Just do it dude... You'll be pleased..

You might find that the engine mounts need to be modified or fabricated or
even something on your crossmember, but I think if you look towards some of
the conversion kits made for 1600s you'll probably find the answers your
looking for.

Good luck...
