Steve,
I had to look up some of the dyno sheets to be sure as my FJ has not been in
a car since late 98 and has since undergone a full rebuild yet to be tried
but 350 bhp was the goal. It has only been in a Sports Sedan that weighed
around 900 kg all up with driver, Ben's a typical race driver, i.e. not much
of him. My best recorded 1/4 time was 13.3 @ 107 mph but the car was geared
differently and ran lower boost to when Ben did the best time and I weigh
around twice as much as Ben. We didn't drag race the car very much as it was
a circuit racer and the two don't mix all that well but bracket racing is
fun no matter what you drive.
Best dyno: 234hp @ 7200 rpm (rev limited) @ 14 psi so around 280-300 bhp
Best qtr (Ben Smoker) at Castlereagh, 12.783 @ 114 mph and Ben won a trophy
on the night.
regards
Terry
