Hi

My 2 cents:  the Z24 crank is partially counterweighted, and I believe the
L20b cranks are fully counterweighted.  Offset grinding & welding would
upset the counterweighting a bit I imagine, but it'd still have better
overall balance than a Z24 (or Z22) crank.  So yea- it's a revs thing!
