>You gotta go turbo mate, there just isnt any other way
>to get 200+hp and still have it sanely daily driveable!

Apparently, Autech Japan have had other ideas.
They offer a S15 Silvia as part of their Special Vehicle line up. They are powered by
SR20DE, tuned up to 200ps@7200rpm, 21.8kgm@4800rpm, linked to a 6 speed close ratio
transmission with 4.08 final gear ratio in a 1420kg vehicle.

Intake and exhaust cams are bumped up a bit, while retaining the NVCS feature.
Valvetrain is beefed up with DET components.
Compression is increased to 11.7:1, still sanely streetable on good pump gas.
Exhaust manifold is upgraded to stainless steel tubular 4 into 1 type with larger than
stock piping all the way back to a freer flowing muffler. To top this all, they
tweaked the ECU for maximum efficiency.

Autech kept the bore and stroke as stock, but I imagine SR22 kit can help increase the
peak power to figures exceeding the stock S13 SR20DET, however max torque will never
come close to the turbocharged motors.

Just wanted to share another option for choosing a conversion motor. Throttle
response of such NA motor might be appreciated by discriminating drivers.
