all of what James said. Brad H added what I didn't feel like writing, that the FJ24 was developed for rally in the 240RS (james didn't say it was developed for rally).
I have the original bogus quote in the magazine at home. They claimed it was developed as a 1.5 litre as they were the turbo F1 engines at the time.
