Dave,
my idea would be to use a series2 bluebird
crank,
an not stroke it, as you arre turbo'ed it,
but courses for horses

David, I would forget about using the z24 rods. The L20 rods
would mean that with L20 piston that the pin height would be about 5mm to much
so you need to find some pistons with 5mm less pin height. The z22e late model
pistons list as a 32.1 pin height when compared to the L20 as 38.1 which is
6mm and you could deck the block if the comp was to low. These pistons are 87mm
bore but unsure on the dish.Others on the list may have some better ideas.

I've got my Z24 crank, L20B rods, Z20 block,
and was going to get custom pistons made to finish the
combo but I've just had a
thought...won't this combo only make it like a 2.2 or 2.3L not the full 2.4
.. since I'm getting
custom pistons made anyway, can I use Z24 rods and just get the pistons made
to suit? or will the piston be too weak due to the pin being so close to the
piston crown (considering I plan running BIG boost) Dave
