pump and a high flowed T3
with the new stroker bottom end I will be
getting a surge tank, bigger injectors and possibly multiple fuel pumps and
run some big boost

a turbo engine doesn't have to rev hard to
work. he could undersize the turbo and have it boost very early in the rev
range making bulk low rpm torque but the compromise there would be the
turbo running out of efficiency in the higher rev ranges, where the
stroker l24 is (said to be) limited anyway. if the turbo was sized right
and could make big psi at very low revs and be a bit like a v8 in power
delivery.
I'd be tempted to do this, the more I think
about it the better it sounds!

David, I would forget about using the z24
rods.The L20 rods would mean that with L20 piston that the pin
height would be about 5mm to much so you need to find some pistons
with 5mm less pin height.The z22e late model pistons list as a 32.1
pin height when compared to the L20 as 38.1 which is 6mm and you
could deck the block if the comp was to low.These pistons are 87mm
bore but unsure on the dish.Others on the list may have some better
