Ben
Almost any 5 speed box behind and L series 4 or 6 cyl engine will do, it
doesn't have to come from a 240K.
Any 5 speed Skyline or Zed from 77 to 85, Bluebird S1 and S2 5 speeds,
180BSSS 200BSSS, Stanza.
Stanza 5 speeds are short (680mm as against 810mm for the long box) and dont
require tailshaft shortening. The more common longer boxes require a
tailshaft shortened by 130mm approx.

too, can anyone shed any light on exactly what needs to be changed to fit
this to a 1600? I have a spare tailshaft lying around, is there anyway that
i could get it shortened before i do the changeover? (ie: does anyone know
what length it needs to be?)
