Richard, We got this done, I wrote a bit of an essay on it. Have you ever seen blue pulse wires, the other colours (green & black) were screwy too so I was flying blind.
I forgot to ask Alan which wires turned out to be the Pos & Neg, I'm guessing the green was pos as it would be weird if it was black. I worked it out which would be which by having a look down the guts of a 180BSSS pulse tacho - seems to have worked. regards Terry -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Richard Clough Sent: Sunday, 24 March 2002 10:02 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Tacho Wiring The blue wire sounds like the pulse wire, its usually white. Disconnect your coil +ve and connect it to a wire running to your blue tacho wire. The return from your tacho becomes the coil +ve input, (Some one confirm this please, its been awhile since I wired one). The other 2 are the power and earth wires. Wire the power wire to a terminal under the dash which becomes active when ignition is switched on. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Alan Attwood" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, 22 March 2002 20:57 PM Subject: Re: Tacho Wiring > Seems no one knows anything about this subject.
