Hey listers, i finally got the bluebird running well ..... the ingnition timing was 4 degree's advanced!!!!! .. no wonder i was having toubles ...... but every now & then it still does it .... i would have checked the timing when i first asked about it on here but ya gotta have time ... i am servicing it this week ... but i think this problem may be because of the float levels on the twin hitachi's because one float is from an early model su ...... which is a bit different in size ... also .. dad said the timing on the camshaft, if advanced produces more torque .. does anyone have any idea on how much more this will produce?
