Mark, Sounds like you are doing in the right way. Drill a hole in the top and reverse it out with a tap. Try some heat as well and/or thread lube.

One of the holes in the block where the engine mounts bolt into has half a screw in there but the head has snapped off. It is too far in to grip, so i was going to try to drill a hole in the screw and reverse thread it to get it out but i thought i'd ask if anyone had any good tricks for getting them out first. Any suggestions? Thanks, Mark. _____________________________________________________________ Get Your free Ozdat Email Account ---> http://www.ozdat.com _____________________________________________________________ Promote your group and strengthen ties to your members with [EMAIL PROTECTED] by Everyone.net http://www.everyone.net/?btn=tag --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/listindex.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------
