I also fitted solex locks to my 1600 and i couldn't find any that specifically suited a 1600, so i bought a pack that said they fit various nissans and toyotas etc and it went in no worries, i just had to do the same thing as Rick, file out around the lock hole in the door. I also fitted the boot lock which was even easier than the door ones, as the ones in the door are harder to get to and detaching the old locks from the the little plastic clip thingos was a bugger! i ended up having scratches and scars all over my hands and wrists from squeezing my hand up the inside of the door, until i decided to use a lighter and melt the plastic clip. This made it a lot easier. :) My old locks could be opened with any old key, but the solex ones are heaps more secure. They can also be 'deadlocked' so they can't be opened from pulling up the lock on the inside, which is handy i guess... enough typing, Good luck Mark F
