Keep up the good work mate.
I've actually seen a home-made REAR strut brace that was made of rectangular
hollow section (RHS) and went over the top of the fuel tank and then down
each side.
It might be overkill and not worth the extra weight The rear of a 1600 is
probably a whole lot stiffer than the front which has to enclose the whole
engine bay as a large void.
I thought it might be ideal to make one that can
use the top of it as  rollcage mounting points.
Btw I think 4-point rollcages are legal for street use here in WA?
Do any listers know if this is true?
