The pivot point on the early crossmember is about an inch
higher which gives you a lower roll center and keeps the arms closer to the
original angle and should reduce bumpsteer.

Hi all, Sometime ago someone said that
an early model (`69?) 1600 crossmember and lower control arms was a better
option for lowered 1600`s, was this right? If so how come? Do you need
anything else? Can it still be used with a 200B brake set up? Have i got
this wrong??? Kris.
