They probably range from $30-$50 each depending on quality. I`ve
never looked at a 200B front end before but i would say you can do it
yourself. If it`s like a 1600, do the following:
Move car onto hard flat level surface
Loosen wheel nuts
Jack car up onto stands and remove wheels
Undo each end of the swaybar so it is disconnected from the control arm
Loosen off radius rod at the big nut and then remove the two smaller bolts
that attach it to the control arm
Remove the two large bolt that attach the Strut assembly to the
balljoint/steering arm
Remove the split pin from the balljoint and undo it`s retaining nut.
Knock the balljoint through the steering arm (can be a right royal pain!!)
Undo the two remaining bolts that attach the balljoint to the control arm
Hopefully you now have an old balljoint in your hand. Time to do the
otherside.
When putting it back together, it is basically a reversal to removing the
ball joint, just remember to TIGHTEN everything after each step except the
radius rod nut (LARGE one). Do this when the car is off the stands and on
the ground.
