Just to add strength to your argument Terry, there was a guy selling what he said was a R180 4.1 LSD (clutch pack type) with LIGHTENED and balanced halfshafts ( which from a 180B SSS if I remember correctly) . So thats saying something about the L4 shafts if you can take material off them and they still don't break. This was in Perth a few months ago, came out of a 1600 that he had smashed the front of and was selling the bits. I procrastinated about buying it and missed out. The whole setup sold for $1200 to another guy called Rob. If you're out there mate, I think you got a good deal, ENJOY!
