I have never seen a factory EFI L16,,as L16 was MFI..
L18 EFI has single pionts in dizzy and computer to run the fuel system
only..
Would run quite well on a L16 ,, runs like shit on a L20B.

Subject: L16 Series EFI - URGENT HELP NEED!!
I have just finished installing an L18 EFI head(A87),
its intake, manifold and ECU onto my L16. The car is
firing fine with the contact point distributor that I
was using before the convertion but the engine is not
smooth.
I had just installes a new coil that didn't require
the resistor to operate, could it be a problem?
Will I need to drive to a while for the ECU to reset?
WHAT DO I DO?
MUST I USE AN ELECTRONIC(POINTLESS)DISTRIBUTOR TO
ATTAIN THE SMOOTHNESS?
