I'd mix it with filtered veggie oil as helper - no lubricity problems then!

Diesel piston engines didn't fly, so to speak, but that's irrelevant
to this question.

It's done all the time.  There is a lot of fuel pumped out of planes
for various reasons, and it isn't certifiable to be put back.  Slop
fuel.  One of the perks of working at the airport and owning a
forgiving diesel (like a Benz) is that you can often get free
fuel, if you're quiet about it.  We've heard from some of those
here.  The jet fuel is not an optimal blend, but it works pretty
well and you can always mix it with #2 as hamburger helper.
