Marshall:

I know, I have one that won't run reliably on #2 (the Bosch VE rotary pump) -- second rebuild in 60,000 miles coming up.

Jet A is much lighter than #2, and is lighter that #1 -- I've done the "fingerprint" of all of them searching for the identity of some stuff found floating after a flood. Never did find out what it was (I didn't check lighter fluid, probably should have). Jet A is heavier than gasoline (the very light volatiles are missing), but the highest molecular weight stuff, as I remember, is about C15, not C32 as it would be in #2 diesel.

I wouldn't run it in a modern IP.
