Yes that is right. Only I took apart the box, cleaned out all the old
grease, and put in the Moly grease. I think I did that on the 300D
about 10 yrs ago, and it has been troublefree since. I did the 300TE
and 300TD before that, but both of them are gone, so I can't testify as
to the duration of their fix. No atf or other service since. Once,
and you are done for 20+ years, I'd say. (depending if the moly grease
is petro based or synthetic based.)

I may still have a wiper assembly at home, I'll search on thurs when
back in MA.
The only troubles that surfaced were that the grease in the gearbox
turned to glue and the sliding shaft needed ATF (M1 of course!) once
every six months.
Curt may have some caveats.
