If ARB_vertex_blend makes no sense for the current cards, they can remove it completely. Obviously what is going on the Mac platform is critical. How can we be sure that Mac OS X uses the extension in the GUI? Can someone check to see if WoW actually calls glWeight or glWeightPointerARB? Maybe someone could check what would happen if ARB_vertex_blend or EXT_vertex_weighting is disabled too.
