No sooner do I read about this issue on the list than I get a phone
call from a frantic client in Germany with a similar report (repeated
printing of page). At least I wasn't taken by surprise when the call
came in. Thanks to those who reported it.
For my peace of mind, it would be useful if a list of affected
printers could be put together until a solution is found. (Even a
partial list would help.) A "pre-emptive warning" to users about the
possible problem is probably better than having them discover it
themselves.
The report I got concerned an HP710C (Inkjet). This was in Germany
(in case model names are different). OS was Win95.
If anyone wants to mail details to me rather than the list, I'd be
happy to put the information together and post it here.
