Well the powers that be (ie, wife) have limited my budget to ~$1000, so I'm going to harvest hard drives that aren't really used from the other computer to make more room for power. ;-)
I'll have to look around for SATA optical drives and see if the cost is much different, I'm pushing my budget as it is.
