Just realized I only sent this to Bill instead of the entire list.

Still haven't gone "wild" in it as I am still of the mind set that its on jack stands and can't believe its complete thus I am kinda scared something is going to fall off.haha. But of course I took my time building it and I have run into no problems whatever in the 350 miles that are on the car now. Still keeping a close eye on the gauges and basically every stop I am looking under the car for fluids. None yet so hopefully that means there won't ever be. Now to peoples questions: Cost to do the swap (not including car or "extra" items not needed to make it drive) is about 10k. I will have a cost page on my website soon. I didn't weight the car before tearing it apart but I weighed it at my local city dump (not sure how accurate) and it was 2760 with me (160 lbs), 7/8 tank of gas, my tool box (~30lbs) and some other things (~15lbs). It did not however have a passenger seat in it. My car has no PS or AC (except for evaporator under the dash) but has a full interior (carpet, radio, door panels, etc), soft and hard tops on and a 6-point roll bar (not cage). Oh, and I have a full-size optima battery so that adds weight too. I might be at the Mitty (Its May 2nd right?). My last final is April 30th so I will be all done with school. If I don't get back to you Bill, send me an email to check up on my plans the week of it or something. Congrats, Nathan. The car looks awesome! Any chance you will bring it up to the Mitty at Road Atlanta? Keith, Teri and I will be there doing a one day FMII install at the GRM booth. Thought I would let everyone know that I got my LS1 Miata fully functional (mostly.) and put the first 30 miles on the conversion just now. I have the first crank video up on my website (http://home.comcast.net/~npartist/completion_videos.html). Its crappy quality but I will have some real video up as soon as I get my hands on a camcorder (maybe week or two). My exhaust is ridiculously low (picture like 2 inches at the center of the car) but that not really the fault of the kit but rather the way my exhaust was done (3rd party). I plan on having it redone whenever I get time. So right now I have to avoid speed bumps, significant crest, large dust bunnies, etc. Hell, that makes this all the more fun right? I think so. :D So tomorrow is the 5th Annual Georgia Tech Autoshow (www.gatechautoshow.com <http://www.gatechautoshow.com/> ) and it's been my goal to DRIVE my car to it ever since I started back in October. At first I though first of the year it would be done but that quickly changed when I didn't have the car back from paint til then. Ever since then, I have come home (I'm a student at Gatech) nearly every weekend (fri-sun) and put in a solid 30-40 hours of work each one and now I can actually drive it! Woohoo. Anyways, any Atlanta locals are welcome to come to the show and check out my car. Its from 11-3pm. Our guest speaker is a GT Grad who works for Telsa Motors, the electric "lotus elise" makers. The speech is at 2pm. Time to put my gauge cluster, center stack and console in. Nathan Sumner [EMAIL PROTECTED]
