Hi folks,

I have a bit of an annoying issue I'm trying to pin down.
Car ('91 Eunos Roadster) has OEM bushings (10+ old, but look to be good),
new tierod ends + frame rails recently installed, KYB shocks, stock springs.

Recently I've felt a little looseness through the steering wheel when on a
rough
corner (not a clunk.. just a remote feeling of something moving a mm or two
more than it should), this has developed to the stage where the car has
started
"wandering" a bit on me when cruising at 60mph. Not lane changing stuff,
just
a seat of the pants uncertainty.

I've jacked up the front left wheel and could feel about 1mm of "give" when
rocking the wheel at the 3 + 9 o'clock positions..
I've a feeling the looseness is coming from the inner tierod somewhere (not
confirmed).. do they wear out? If so, how? I picture it as a ball joint on
one end
and threaded end on the other.. does the ball joint wear?

I've also noticed the rear end drifting around a bit during the same
timeframe,
altho I think this might be related to my rear axle leaking (stub not seated
properly?).

I've ordered 8 new alignment bolts (needs doing anyway) + axle seal.. but
would
really like to know how I'd go about sourcing the looseness.. anyone had a
similar issue in the past?

Cheers!
Steve
