That's the real problem Larry, We don't see things in the same way, because 
 our programming, what we have learned, varies so much.  That's why our  
Congressfolk have such a difficult time in working together.
...And THAT is what they must strive to overcome.   When two  parties have 
an argument, and one simply stops talking or responding, the  communication 
is shut down and nothing gets done.  
This fact is the most compelling reason for MORE political parties in the  
USA.  With more political parties, discussions are much more likely to  
continue, so eventually an acceptable resolution to problems or compromise on  
programs can be achieved.
