Technically called the First Herd (1944), The Second Herd (1947), The Third Herd (1950-56), The New Thundering Herd (1959-87). Don't think there's a need to list them all (your call), but maybe we should go with the First Herd, simply to avoid confusion with the Frampton band, the Herd (who are coincidentally in today's events).
