Steve, If you wish heat your pool, try using solar plastic panels - about same surface area that swimmig pool - , interconnected to the filter circuit with PVC pipes, adding valves for a by pass. Put a 'bubbles polyethilene' coverage floating in the pool water surface overnight to overcome loss of heat trough evaporation and radiation heat losses to the sky.
