I only install routers. There's only one switch that's outside of my NOC and it's at a micro-POP.

Basically at the far end of the network I have a rural tower with 33 subs currently with 2 routes into it. I also have another tower 3 miles away in a small town with about the same amount of clients. That 2 nd tower feeds off of the first with no other routes and really no hope of that tower feeding another site. My question is would you install a router at this 2 nd site? Since we are not routed now I cant see a big benefit to it, other than a closer point for auth and traffic shaping, though with 60 plus subs I cant see that being an issue with a good router at the first. Anyways just looking for any insight Thanks Heith _______________________________________________ Mikrotik-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.wispa.org/mailman/listinfo/mikrotik-users
