Put it on a separate subnet on the ethernet port from the first tower,
then later if you need to add a router, simply add the routing between,
and move the subnets over..

Subject: [Mikrotik Users] tower routing suggestion

So trying to plan a routed solution for a part of my network. Basically
at the far end of the network I have a rural tower with 33 subs
currently with 2 routes into it. I also have another tower 3 miles away
in a small town with about the same amount of clients. That 2nd tower
feeds off of the first with no other routes and really no hope of that
tower feeding another site. My question is would you install a router at
this 2nd site? Since we are not routed now I cant see a big benefit to
it, other than a closer point for auth and traffic shaping, though with
60 plus subs I cant see that being an issue with a good router at the
first. Anyways just looking for any insight

Thanks

Heith
