Cool. No problem on cost, its costing me more not to route the deal. Finally getting owners on board with it. Their biggest issue is an understanding issue, not money

We only use 493G's at our towers so we use the 433's for testing new setups/configs and we'll never deploy them again, but they are in good shape and work perfectly. It's better to do it now and not need it than to need it later and not have it. -- Christopher Tyler MTCRE/MTCNA/MTCTCE/MTCWE Total Highspeed Internet Services 417.851.1107 ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mike Hammett" <[email protected]> To: "Mikrotik Users" <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, October 20, 2014 1:53:07 PM Subject: Re: [Mikrotik Users] tower routing suggestion I only install routers. Basically at the far end of the network I have a rural tower with 33 subs currently with 2 routes into it. I also have another tower 3 miles away in a small town with about the same amount of clients. That 2 nd tower feeds off of the first with no other routes and really no hope of that tower feeding another site. My question is would you install a router at this 2 nd site? Since we are not routed now I cant see a big benefit to it, other than a closer point for auth and traffic shaping, though with 60 plus subs I cant see that being an issue with a good router at the first. Anyways just looking for any insight Thanks Heith _______________________________________________ Mikrotik-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.wispa.org/mailman/listinfo/mikrotik-users _______________________________________________ Mikrotik-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.wispa.org/mailman/listinfo/mikrotik-users _______________________________________________ Mikrotik-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.wispa.org/mailman/listinfo/mikrotik-users _______________________________________________ Mikrotik-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.wispa.org/mailman/listinfo/mikrotik-users _______________________________________________ Mikrotik-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.wispa.org/mailman/listinfo/mikrotik-users
