I wasn't going to get into this, but I just want to make it clear for
the record. Chaz isn't coming back. We are not going to lift the ban
on him. I can't tell you the number of times we have had to put Chaz
on moderation and babysit him. He always gets better, and we let him
back, and he behaves himself for a while, and then he begins his
childish attacks again. I can't tell you how many emails I've
received of people telling me they have to leave the group because of
Chaz. Our very own moderator Pottsie left the group because of Chaz.
Pottsie was very well behaved and had some great contributions, but
Chaz changed all of that. Chaz belongs on groups like alt.philosophy
and the epistemology group, not this group. This is not a group for
pissing contests to see who can make who cry first. I'm sorry that
some of you got chummy with Chaz, and miss him now (although I don't
know how that's possible), but you'll have to talk to him on other
forums. Here he distracted from the groups tone and purpose, and he's
not coming back, end of story. I just wish we would have gotten rid
of him sooner so that we wouldn't have lost so many good members.
