I think many of the leaders in the world are very very money orientated to the point of greed. In the US bush took a major bribe even before even took office his ranch A "GIFT!" (Bribe) was given him for winning? the election. This is just one example of a leader being bought and paid for.
But I think that little discussion groups like ours is the real hope becase we can and do speak pretty freely with little or nothing to gain. One day ideas will form that will allow humanity to progress in a forward direction.
