Most don’t see Unity in this context as conformity. Yes, a few do. One possibility would be that there were an agreed upon acceptance to study all things, widening the ‘big eye’s view. Yet, some do see that book burning and limiting what one can find out to be another way to ‘it’…however, most would call this blindness. That and/or blind belief.
