i cant bash atheism because all i know about it is that its participants do not believe in mans interpretation of 'god'. as far as im concerned, thats the end of the conversation...what else is there to talk about? in the little amount of time i have spent in that unfortunate place called AvC, i have seen circulating statements from both sides that seem to be leading nowhere in particular. even in a place as docile as this, if spiritual experience is mentioned it is often deemed as imagination at work, so there seems to be no purpose of describing these things. i think it may be important for atheists and theists to have these conversations, maybe to vent their views, but really, neither side can prove or disprove their points so i think everybody should kiss and make up. seems sorta like eternal mud wrestling with no end in sight ;-^(
