although i appreciate your stance in regards to xtians being unable to substantiate the existance of their 'god', some atheists have taken the approach that if xtians cant give proof, then 'god' does not exist. this is far from true imo. if atheists dont want to state catagorically that there is no 'god', then their message should be, "i dont believe there is a 'god' but i could be wrong."...i have not heard that message at all, but have not been in conversation with many atheists who are not simply theist bashers, such as exists in AvC.
one very simple observation i have is that 'just because one cannot prove something, in no way indicates that such does not exist'. i have never heard an atheist state this. is this part of your appreciation of the 'god' question?
