None at all Don. You may freely insult the UK as you see fit(I have much also to say on insult, perhaps later) an insult to the UK is an insult to what exactly? It's people, the land, it's goverment?
Identity I get. I identify myself as Enlglish, and British, and a Londoner, a European, ana an Earthling, but mostly I am Lee. I am not like my brother Kevin, nor my mother nor my father, nor any of the multiude of siblings that I have. Of course I have some similar traits to some of my family, my mum, and a couple of her brothers, but yet I am not exactly like anybody else. Neither are you, we are all differant, uniqiue and individual. This is how I prefer to deal with people. You are correct you Americans do indeed all share something, yet you also share it with the rest of the world. We are all the same speices.
