You know, I once felt that emotional stirring. As someone who lived like an
ex-pat for many years, I always saw it as a sign of home. However, having
been here for many years now, I find that my whole response has been
destroyed by the pseudo-patriotism and rampant nationalism that occurred
after 9/11.
