When we dream the mind uses the centres of the senses in the brain. For example, it is the optic nerve which takes vision to a centre of the brain. A deaf and dumb person does not know what is sound. He does not dream of sound. Of hallucinations, a person hallucinates to see what he wishes to hear and see.
