That relevancy has been there for around two thousand years and people
have managed to ignore it.  I'm atheist but believe that Christ was a
bringer of peace.  Having read the bible, I was most fond of the New
Testament gospel of St. John.  Therein he speaks of this power of love
very clearly and how it was the underlying basis of Christ's
ministry.  But like I said, it's been around for 2000 years and people
still ignore it -- and no one more than the leaders of Christianity.
How fucking ironic is that?

Okay, I can see where that's coming from.  In fact, I've been there
quite often myself.  But in truth it's just people behaving like
assholes.   They're not actually assholes themselves ... else we'd be
greeting each other the way dogs do.
