Of course, the machines don't do all the work. Liking these may increase your dilettante status in some quarters, notably mine! In a way, my machine concept is a bit liek your experience in 'one'. It's about trying to produce something thinking with everything, though the end is not and end, more a staging post or way station. In the gravity rainbow (not Pynchon) approach there are Planck size and time limits beyond which space-time does not exist. This might lead to RP's unconscious god, though we think it may be more of a creation point denier. In practice rather than dream it's all more of an argument factory to juggle more balls at the same time. Much human argument proceeds by exclusion - economics is the paradigm case - but one can see this in newsrooms and debates on such as racism.
