Good statement, Andrew. Then there is the "We make plans and God laughs" 
notion. The notion of Divine Will. Not in the Abraham Lincoln sense that 
god judges right and wrong. More in the sense of life unfolding, "Not my 
will but thine be done" Like Abraham on top of the mountain of what the 
Lord has seen, willing to give up his only son, and in that willingness, 
all is returned to him and more than he could have willed for himself.From 
the mystic's view, we are given free will to learn that what is happening 
in all of creation is divine will, and perfect in and of itself. Our free 
will, then, becomes agape, or the love of god expressed by us in every
