This may be related to both issues.Your drainage may be perfectly well and
you may still have moisture in your ECU or ECU connector. Unplug the thing
and check both sides of the connector for green oxide. Open the ECU and look
inside. Torx screws required for this.

time, but as best as I can tell the drainage around my ECU is free from

I'll check the drainage, though. I'll pour a glass of H2O into the drain
and
make sure it empties out.
