Thanks all for the comments/ideas/posts/humor/and whatnot...

After all this, I think I will stick w/ the K&N (ahhh...smile).

And to the guy that ended up in the ditch, maybe when you cleaned/oiled your
filter, you sucked in the aerosol fumes and then went for a ride? One never
knows...

If nothing else, my original post woke up many-a-lister!
