I don't know what all the hubbub is about. I've ran K&Ns in both my A2s for the last 5 years and have never experienced any problems. The oil breather causes more goo than anything. Over oiling the filter may cause a problem but why would you over oil it on purpose? K&N makes a great product that works if used properly, don't be afraid.
