- Hey, I love the R32, but how do you see it as a replacement for the A2 16V? This thing's thirty thousand dollars!!! To me, it's in a different category. It's more in the WRX category. Don't you think that the GTI 337 and the upcoming limited edition GTI are better "successors" to the A2 16V? By the way, my friend works at the local VW/Audi research center. Currently they have 3 R32's, 3 limited edition GTI's, and a couple of TT's with the VR6 and dual clutch system. Yes, he gets to drive all of them.
