Glad to see everyone here isn't a "vw or nothing" advocate :)  I was going
to buy a wrx last year, but I decided to wait on the evo.  Not that I will
surely buy one, but at least I wanted to wait and see.  So I bought my 90
gli until I decide.  I like VWs, but I have an open mind and will probably
not buy another vw for performance reasons.  I'll keep my a2 16v and
Corrado vr6, but I realize a 30k vw is not something I'd like to have.  
Both the evo sti and the wrx have quite a history in Asia and Europe, so I
feel more confident in their dependabilty and performance anyway.
