Thanks Dan. I'd completely forgotten about the G+ group.
I looked at Caspar but (unless I'm mistaken) that uses Flash templates.
We're an HTML shop and webvfx seemed like a natural fit. We combined it
with the Greensock animation libraries which allow you to sync timeline
progress with webvfx's time param.
The only bit of proprietary software in our broadcast stack is now
Wirecast, which is extremely unreliable and has no real support for
upstream keying - do you know of any software switchers built on MLT? We're
looking into snowmix which is of course gstreamer.
