The only thing that I am aware of is this simple, ad hoc python script I
wrote for a friend:

Technically, that is not even a switcher. It makes one of the inputs
slightly reduce into a rectangle in the top, right corner revealing the
second input underneath. And then return on the next trigger. But, it would
be easy to make that a clean cut, dissolve, luma wipe, push, etc. It sounds
like are looking for something that also does keying.
There are roadmap plans to provide Wirecast-like functionality in Shotcut,
but that is pretty far out unless something happens that gives me more time
to work on it.
